Itinerary
Day 01 :
Entebbe To Lake Mburo National Park
- Early morning pickup from Entebbe.
- Enjoy a scenic drive through Uganda’s rolling countryside, passing vibrant villages and lush landscapes. Stop at the equator for a photo opportunity and refreshments.
- Upon arrival at Lake Mburo National Park, check in at your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch overlooking the park’s acacia-dotted savannah.
- Indulge in some afternoon activities such as:
Exciting game drive, spotting zebras, elands, impalas, and leopards.
Option for a guided walking safari for an up-close experience with wildlife.
Enjoy a boat safari on Lake Mburo, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. - Return to the lodge for a cozy dinner under the stars.
Day 02 :
Lake Mburo National Park To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Enjoy a morning nature walk or horseback safari before breakfast.
- Depart for Bwindi, passing through stunning landscapes, rolling hills, and rural villages.
- Stop for lunch en route in Mbarara.
- Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
- Check into your lodge and unwind, soaking in the breathtaking rain forest views. Enjoy an evening community walk to visit the Batwa people, learning about their ancient forest-dwelling culture.
Day 03 :
Gorilla Trekking
- Early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your gorilla trekking adventure. With expert guides, hike through the dense rain forest in search of a gorilla family.
- Upon finding them, spend an unforgettable hour observing their behaviors, interactions, and playful young ones — a truly magical and humbling experience!
- After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later, visit a local coffee plantation or enjoy a massage at the lodge to unwind.
Day 04 :
Scenic Flight To Entebbe
- Enjoy a relaxed breakfast.
- Transfer to Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip for a scenic flight back to Entebbe, offering breathtaking aerial views of Uganda’s stunning landscapes.
- Arrive in Entebbe in time for your onward flight.
