Itinerary
Day 01 :
Nairobi to Samburu – The Northern Frontier
- Early pick-up from your hotel or airport
- Morning flight to Samburu airstrip or scenic drive via Nanyuki
- Arrive at your luxury camp/lodge (e.g., Saruni Samburu, Elephant Bedroom, or Larsens Camp)
- Check-in and lunch
- Afternoon game drive exploring Samburu’s unique wildlife: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and oryx
- Return for dinner and overnight stay
Day 02 :
Full Day in Samburu – Culture & Wildlife
- Early morning game drive
- Optional visit to a Samburu village for cultural experience
- Leisure time at the lodge with pool/spa
- Afternoon game drive or nature walk with Samburu guides
- Sundowners with panoramic northern Kenya views
- Dinner and overnight at your lodge
Day 03 :
Samburu to Masai Mara – Scenic Flight South
- Breakfast and check-out
- Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Masai Mara
- Arrive and transfer to your luxury camp (e.g., Mara Ngenche, Sand River by Elewana, or Mara Explorer)
- Lunch and relaxation
- Evening game drive across Mara’s vast savannah
- Return for bush dinner and overnight at the camp
Day 04 :
Masai Mara – Big Five & Migration Experience
- Early morning and late afternoon game drives
- Optional hot air balloon safari with champagne bush breakfast
- Explore areas known for lion prides, cheetah hunts, elephants, and seasonal wildebeest migration
- Visit Maasai village (optional)
- Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge
Day 05 :
Masai Mara to Nairobi – Farewell to the Wild
