Itinerary
Day 01 :
Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park
- Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kampala.
- Embark on a scenic drive westward through lush countryside, tea plantations, and local communities.
- Stop for lunch en route in Fort Portal, with views of the Rwenzori Mountains.
- Arrive at Kibale Forest National Park, known for its dense jungle and primate diversity.
- Check-in at your lodge and enjoy an evening nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for birdwatching and encounters with monkeys.
- Dinner and overnight at a lodge near Kibale Forest.
Day 02 :
Chimpanzee Trekking and Exploration
- After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking briefing.
- Venture into the forest with expert trackers to locate and observe these intelligent and social primates in their natural habitat.
- Spend up to one hour observing the chimps.
- Return to the lodge for lunch.

- Visit a local crater lake.
- Explore the cultural heritage of the Toro Kingdom in Fort Portal.

Day 03 :
Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Breakfast and check-out.
- Drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a scenic journey along the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains.
- Arrive at your lodge for lunch, followed by a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for large concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and birds.
- Enjoy an evening game drive as you return to the lodge.
- Dinner and overnight in Queen Elizabeth NP.
Day 04 :
Queen Elizabeth NP to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- Early morning game drive through Ishasha Sector, known for its rare tree-climbing lions.
- Continue the journey south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
- Arrive at your lodge nestled in the rainforest.
- Afternoon at leisure or enjoy an optional community walk to visit the Batwa people.
- Dinner and overnight in Bwindi.
Day 05 :
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
- Early breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing.
- Begin your unforgettable gorilla trekking experience—venture deep into the forest to find a habituated gorilla family.
- Spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants.
- Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
- Optional massage or forest walk in the afternoon.
- Dinner and overnight in Bwindi.
Day 06 :
Bwindi to Entebbe
- Enjoy breakfast and check-out.
- Transfer to Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip for a scenic domestic flight to Entebbe, offering breathtaking views of southwestern Uganda’s terrain.
- Arrive in Entebbe in time for your onward international flight or transfer to your hotel.
