Itinerary
Day 01 :
Nairobi to Entebbe – Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
- Early morning international flight from Nairobi to Entebbe International Airport, Uganda.
- Meet & greet by your safari guide.
- Scenic road trip to Lake Mburo National Park.
- Stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity and refreshments.
- Afternoon game drive or boat safari on Lake Mburo (hippos, crocodiles, birdlife).
- Dinner & overnight at Lake Mburo safari lodge.
Day 02 :
Lake Mburo to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Optional nature walk or horseback safari.
- Breakfast and check-out.
- Drive through beautiful highland scenery to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
- Stop for lunch en route in Mbarara.
- Arrival and check-in at your lodge.
- Evening relaxation or cultural visit to the Batwa community.
- Dinner & overnight at Bwindi lodge.
Day 03 :
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
- Early breakfast, then briefing at the park headquarters.
- Begin the gorilla trekking experience — hike through dense forest to find a habituated family.
- Spend 1 magical hour observing mountain gorillas.
- Return to lodge, lunch, and unwind.
- Optional massage or community walk.
- Dinner & overnight at Bwindi lodge.
Day 04 :
Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Breakfast and check-out.
- Scenic drive via the Ishasha sector—keep an eye out for tree-climbing lions.
- Lunch at the lodge.
- Afternoon Kazinga Channel boat cruise (hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, birds).
- Evening at leisure.
- Dinner & overnight at Queen Elizabeth NP lodge.
Day 05 :
Queen Elizabeth to Kibale Forest National Park
- Early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains.
- Return to lodge for breakfast.
- Depart for Kibale Forest, home of chimpanzees and crater lakes.
- Lunch en route or at the lodge.
- Optional visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for birdwatching and cultural experience.
- Dinner & overnight at Kibale lodge.
Day 06 :
Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale – Flight to Entebbe
- Early breakfast and head to park HQ for chimpanzee trekking.
- Encounter chimp families and observe their playful behavior in their natural setting.
- Return to the lodge, freshen up and check out.
- Transfer to Kasese or Fort Portal Airstrip for your domestic flight to Entebbe.
- Transfer to a nearby guesthouse/hotel in Entebbe for overnight stay or rest.
Day 07 :
Entebbe to Nairobi
- Breakfast and transfer to Entebbe International Airport.
- Board your international flight back to Nairobi.
- Arrive in Nairobi and end of safari adventure.
