Itinerary
Day 01 :
Nairobi to Entebbe – Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
- Morning international flight from Nairobi to Entebbe.
- Meet & greet, followed by a drive north to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (optional rhino tracking).
- Lunch en route.
- Arrive at the park and check in to your lodge.
- Evening game drive or rest at the lodge.
- Dinner & overnight in Murchison Falls.
Day 02 :
Murchison Falls Exploration
- Early morning game drive in the savannah of the northern sector – expect lions, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, and more.
- Return for breakfast and relaxation.
- Afternoon boat safari to the base of Murchison Falls, viewing hippos, Nile crocodiles, and birdlife.
- Optional hike to the top of the falls for spectacular views.
- Dinner & overnight at your lodge.
Day 03 :
Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest National Park
- Early breakfast and depart for Kibale Forest.
- Scenic drive through tea plantations, crater lakes, and beautiful countryside.
- Packed lunch or stop at a local restaurant.
- Arrive and check in to your lodge in the afternoon.
- Optional visit to Bigodi Wetlands for birdwatching and a cultural walk.
- Dinner & overnight in Kibale.
Day 04 :
Chimpanzee Trekking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- After an early breakfast, join park rangers for a chimpanzee tracking experience.
- Spend time observing their behavior, communication, and forest life.
- Return for lunch at the lodge.
- Drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
- Check in at your lodge and enjoy views of the savannah and lakes.
- Dinner & overnight in Queen Elizabeth NP.
Day 05 :
Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Early morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector – lions, Uganda kob, elephants, and more.
- Return for breakfast and relaxation.
- Afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga Channel – hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, and a rich variety of birds.
- Optional evening game drive or visit to the Katwe Salt Lake.
- Dinner & overnight at the lodge.
Day 06 :
Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- Breakfast and check-out.
- Travel through the southern Ishasha sector of the park—watch for tree-climbing lions.
- Lunch stop en route.
- Arrival in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the endangered mountain gorillas.
- Evening at leisure or cultural encounter with the Batwa pygmies.
- Dinner & overnight at Bwindi lodge.
Day 07 :
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Transfer to Entebbe
- Early breakfast and park briefing.
- Start your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience – trek through the forest to find your assigned gorilla family.
- Spend up to 1 hour with the gorillas in their natural habitat.
- Return for lunch, freshen up, and transfer to Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip.
- Domestic flight to Entebbe.
- Check into a hotel near the airport.
- Dinner & overnight in Entebbe.
Day 08 :
Entebbe to Nairobi – End of Tour
- Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your hotel.
- Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your return flight to Nairobi.
- Arrival in Nairobi and end of the adventure.
